Blue Diamond Resorts plans to open an adults-only all-inclusive along Antigua’s northwest coast next April.
The resort is the former Starfish Halcyon Cove and is undergoing an extensive renovation. The Diamond Club sections, pool areas, spa, restaurants and lobbies will be new structures. Two existing buildings will house guestrooms, but the buildings have been gutted and will be practically new on the inside.
The Royalton Chic Antigua will have 235 guestrooms, each outfitted with a private balcony or terrace.
The resort will be home to seven restaurants and five bars, sports and fitness facilities, and a spa. Guests will have access to 24/7 room service.
The Royalton Chic Antigua will be Blue Diamond Resorts’ third Royalton Chic resort, joining the Royalton Chic Punta Cana, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino and Royalton Chic Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort in Mexico.
Also, Blue Diamond is preparing to open the 352-room Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, in November.
Blue Diamond recently unveiled upgrades to its Diamond Club and Star Class room categories, expanding its butler program and enhancing both categories’ food and beverage offerings.
