Cunard has inked a partnership with two-Michelin-starred French chef Michel Roux, whose menus will be among several culinary additions to the Queen Anne, set to debut in May.
Roux, of London’s Le Gavroche restaurant, will work with Cunard chefs to create a gala menu for the Queens Grill restaurant on the new ship plus a new menu for Cunard’s fleetwide pub, the Golden Lion.
Three new-to-Cunard specialty dining venues will debut on the ship for a supplemental cost. Aji Wa will feature seasonal Japanese cuisine and feature sushi, including an omakase, or “chef’s choice,” tasting menu in the evening; Aranya will have Indian cuisine in “a multi-sensory experience” in a venue with floor-to-ceiling windows; Sir Samuels, a high-end steakhouse, will showcase British and Australian beef and seafood.
Tramonto, an included dining venue, will offer a Mediterranean menu and alfresco seating for lunch and dinner.
The new Golden Lion pub menu, currently in development, will feature a selection of guest favorites reimagined by Roux, Cunard said. It will launch on the Queen Anne in May 2024 before rolling out on the rest of the fleet later that year.
