Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts’ newly refreshed Cayo Levantado Resort in the Dominican Republic has started taking bookings ahead of its June 1 relaunch.
The 219-room all-inclusive, which has undergone extensive renovations, is located on the island of Cayo Levantado, situated just a few miles from Samana Bay. The property has been shuttered since the start of the Covid pandemic in 2020.
Upon reopening, the reimagined resort will feature two swimming pools, two spas, an outdoor CrossFit area, a beach club, a personal training studio, a beauty salon and a botanical garden.
On the culinary front, guests will have access to three a la carte restaurants, a buffet restaurant, four bars and a coffee shop. Two additional specialty restaurants, which won’t be part of the property’s all-inclusive program, will also be on offer.
Bahia Principe’s Dominican Republic footprint also comprises the Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa, Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo and the adults-only Bahia Principe Luxury Samana.
