Marriott International has added a fresh batch of all-inclusive projects to its Mexico pipeline, detailing plans to debut three luxury all-inclusives under its JW Marriott, W Hotels and Luxury Collection flags in Isla Mujeres and Costa Mujeres.
Slated to open in 2024, the Almare, a Luxury Collection All-Inclusive Resort on Isla Mujeres will be for adults only. The 105-room resort will offer access to four dining outlets, two pools and a beach club.
The JW Marriott All-Inclusive Costa Mujeres and W All-Inclusive Costa Mujeres, which are scheduled to open in 2026, will be part of the same development. The 283-room JW Marriott will feature six dining venues, multiple pools, meeting rooms and 53 residences. The 300-room, adults-only W will be home to five food-and-beverage concepts, several pools, event space and 10 residences.
The two resorts will be connected by a 70,000-square-foot complex called The Village. Open to both guests and visitors, the Village will house of mix of food and beverage offerings, retail shops and event space.
Marriott International has made all-inclusive expansion a priority in recent years, with Mexico a focus market for its all-inclusive push. The company opened its Delta Hotels by Marriott, Riviera Nayarit all-inclusive last year, with four additional Riviera Nayarit all-inclusives under the Ritz-Carlton, Westin, Autograph Collection and Marriott brands also under development.
