Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has made its foray into the Netherlands with the opening of the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam.
Formerly flagged as the NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, the city-center property is housed in a 155-year-old building, which is currently in the final phases of refurbishment. (Both the Anantara and NH brands are part of the Minor Hotels portfolio.)
The 402-room luxury hotel has relaunched with revamped accommodations. Guestrooms have received a new color palette, midcentury-inspired furnishings and geometric lighting fixtures.
A new spa and fitness center has been added, featuring three treatment rooms and amenities such as Finnish, wet and infrared saunas, a relaxation area that overlooks the hotel’s garden, and Technogym-branded cardio and weightlifting equipment.
The Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam’s culinary offerings have also made their debut, including fine-dining restaurant The White Room, helmed by Michelin-starred chef Jacob Jan Boerma, and the all-day dining Grand Café Krasnapolsky, which offers views of the city’s Dam Square.
Additionally, a glass-roofed space called the Wintergarden serves as a breakfast venue, while The Tailor bar specializes in craft cocktails.
Rates at the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam start at $450 per night, based on double occupancy.
