Oceania Cruises will debut its newest ship one week earlier than planned.
The Allura, the second ship in Oceania’s Allura class, will depart on its inaugural cruise from Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025. On the six-day voyage to Athens, the Allura plans to call in Rijeka and Dubrovnik, Croatia; Ravenna, Italy; and Kotor, Montenegro.
Guests booked on the original inaugural cruise departing July 2 had first access to book the new maiden sailing before it went on sale to the public.
This isn’t the first time Oceania has shifted the date of the Allura’s inaugural cruise. The line had originally planned a maiden voyage departing June 8, 2025.
Oceania is also opening a four-day taster cruise roundtrip from New York to attract new-to-brand cruisers. The sailing is from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4, 2025.
Oceania is developing more than 300 new recipes for the Allura’s dining room under the direction of newly appointed executive culinary directors Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale. The team is developing a creperie, which is new for the brand, that will serve made-to-order crepes and waffles as well as sundaes in the afternoon.
The Allura is the eighth ship for Oceania cruises and a sister of the Oceania Vista, which debuted in May 2023.
