Adventures by Disney will add Arctic itineraries to its expedition cruise roster, starting in 2023.
Adventures by Disney launched a family-focused expedition cruise product in January 2021, with plans to sail Antarctica and the Galapagos in partnership with Ponant. Its first sailings are set to launch in December.
Adventures by Disney has scheduled two 10-day Arctic departures, one each in June and July 2023, on Ponant’s Le Boreal. The sailing will include a welcome dinner and overnight stay in Oslo before passengers fly to Svalbard to board the ship to explore northern Norway and the Arctic.
Former Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde will join the July 2023 sailing to talk to guests about his Disney career, nature and conservation as well as to host sketching sessions for passengers.

The cruises will feature programming for both adults and children, including special presentations by naturalists. Select sailings will have animal and photography experts and workshops about wildlife, conservation and travel photography.
Also in 2023, ABD will add Antarctica and Galápagos sailings, with three more 12-day Antarctica and Patagonia Expedition departures in December 2022 and early 2023, and five more Galapagos departures in 2023.
Bookings for the new sailings open to the public on Nov. 12.
Adventures by Disney also offers family river cruises aboard AmaWaterways ships.
