Alaskan Dream Cruises has added a pair of new itineraries to its 2025 lineup, including one it contends will be the line’s most adventurous itinerary yet.
The Indigenous-owned cruise line will sail a seven-day Alaska’s Ultimate Adventure cruise between Sitka and Juneau, sailing the 49-guest Admiralty Dream through the Chatham Strait, Frederick Sound and Lynn Canal.
Excursions will include more demanding physical activity than those available on other itineraries, including more rigorous hikes in the Tongass National Forest and longer kayaking tours. Guests will visit the community of Wrangell mid-cruise to look for ancient petroglyphs on the beach, hike to a waterfall or take a jetboat tour. This itinerary will sail on May 17, Aug. 2 and Sept. 13, 2025.
The line will also sail a seven-day Wild Alaska Odyssey itinerary that will focus on small communities, including the town of Wrangell and the Alaska Native village of Kake. The sailing, which will depart from either Sitka or Wrangell, will also include days sailing in Glacier Bay National Park and time exploring the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness and other natural areas with hiking, kayaking and small-boat activities.
Passengers on the 40-guest Alaskan Dream will also sail by Admiralty Island and through Frederick Sound which offer opportunities for bear- and whale-watching, respectively. This expedition itinerary is available for June 8, June 15, Aug. 17 and Aug. 24, 2025.
