Chase Travel (No. 8 on Travel Weekly’s 2023 Power List) will launch a new hotel program, The Edit by Chase Travel, in 2024 for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders.
Chase described The Edit as “an evolution from the brand’s popular Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection.” The program focuses on luxury lodging and is expected to launch in early 2024.
Hotels offer benefits such as breakfast for two, property credits and room upgrades if available when booked through The Edit.
Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can redeem Ultimate Rewards points for stays, Chase said.
Chase Travel’s forward bookings indicate a strong year ahead. As of early November, Chase is seeing a 47% year-over-year increase in spring 2024 purchases and a 59% year-over-year increase in summer 2024 purchases. Those increases are especially positive as “a majority of travel bookings for spring and summer typically take place in the new year,” Chase said.
Chase also saw notable increases in luxury sales this year, with a 40% year-over-year increase in stays at five-star hotels, a 28% increase in business-class tickets and a 14% increase in first-class tickets.
