Cunard Line has revealed a glimpse of retail experiences awaiting guests on the Queen Anne, Cunard’s first new ship since 2010. The Queen Anne embarks on its maiden cruise May 3.
The luxury line said 115 household brands will have a presence on board, from luxury watchmaker Bremont to the beauty division of French fashion house Chanel. And, 27 of the brands are first-time partnerships for Cunard, including Hugo Boss, Raishma, Chapel Down, Whittard and 886 Royal Mint. Garrard, the first official crown jeweler in the U.K., will have its first boutique on a Cunard ship.
The ship’s retail spaces, designed by Sybille de Margerie, will feature “meandering pathways to inspire exploration and intrigue, enabling guests to intuitively weave through areas, with seamless connections leading shoppers from one category to another,” Cunard said.

Cunard calls the Grand Lobby Boutiques “the ultimate venue for retail indulgence and is where guests will find the first Garrard fine jewelry boutique at sea as well as Queen Anne’s Cabinet of Curiosities and Experience Lounge.
The Cabinet of Curiosities is a new concept. Thirty-eight display cases “showcase curated treasures from a variety of luxury brands that celebrate the style and intrigue of travel,” Cunard said. The rotunda gallery will display collectibles, jewelry, fashion and art from Cunard’s partner brands, such as Chanel and Bremont.
The Experience Lounge is a space where retail intertwines with food and drink.
Cunard is employing a “shopping host,” a shopping concierge with knowledge of the merchandise and brands’ stories. Furthermore, a personalization desk will be available for guests who wish to add a personal touch to purchases through engraving and embossing.
Throughout the ship’s maiden season, the Queen Anne will sail from Southampton, England. Itineraries include the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands and the Norwegian fjords.
