A travel advisor and a supplier representative have joined forces to create LUXPages, a digital directory designed to connect luxury advisors and suppliers regardless of affiliation.
The new platform will launch on Feb. 6. It is the brainchild of Alicia Diez, who brings three decades of experience as a travel advisor with Valerie Wilson Travel, and Dora Karanikas, who spent 20 years with various luxury brands including Ritz-Carlton, Virtuoso and Hidden Doorways.
The duo has spent the past two years building LUXPages.
It launches as a membership-based platform open to all luxury advisors, suppliers, DMCs and sales representation companies.
According to LUXPages, more than 400 suppliers, ranging from large brands to independent properties, are Founding Members. The platform expects to onboard 1,000 more suppliers throughout the year.
Membership, which opens Feb. 6, includes access to the database; advanced filters to pinpoint searches; a community of luxury travel partners; and resources like a calendar and news.
Pricing begins at $18 per advisor, per month, billed annually, or $16 per user, per month, for an agency with a minimum of two users, billed annually. Advisors who join by April 6 can enjoy a 25% discount with an annual commitment. Interested suppliers are asked to contact LUXPages for membership information.
“Frustration was the motivation for creating LUXPages,” Diez said in a release. “For years, agency colleagues and I felt inundated with piecemeal resources for travel planning. The industry had no universal database to research all viable options for our clients. We designed LUXPages to transform the clutter into one trusted global aggregator. It is the first step in every luxury travel planner’s search.”
Karanikas said suppliers will also benefit from a listing on LUXPages thanks to visibility to agents on the platform.
