Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic will hold its inaugural Casa de Campo Food & Wine Festival from Oct. 17 to 22. The event is a partnership with Invited, an owner and operator of golf and country clubs and facilities worldwide.
The event will highlight a mix of Dominican and international cuisines and feature chefs Hubert Keller and Akira Back along with Invited’s chefs and mixologists. As part of the Food & Wine Festival, Invited chefs will be competing for the company’s Chef of the Year title.

Events include a welcome dinner on Minitas Beach on Oct. 17, a pairing dinner at Minitas Beach Club Restaurant on Oct. 18 and a cook-off competition and Glow Golf Party on Invited’s Teeth of the Dog Driving Range on Oct. 19. Two Grand Tasting events are planned for the final days of the festival at the Marina Riverside Center; the first of those events, on Oct. 20, will feature the Celebrity Chef Showcase Reception Under the Stars at Minitas Beach Club, while an Oct. 21 event will conclude with the Invited Chef of the Year Reveal Dinner in the Flamboyan Ballroom.

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, which sits on 7,000 acres, offers 250 guestrooms, 57 premier suites, a presidential suite and 50 private villas. The resort also has three golf courses, eight restaurants, a 370-slip marina and yacht club, a polo and equestrian club, La Terraza Tennis Center and a 245-acre shooting club.
