Grupo Xcaret is ready to unveil the next resort in its burgeoning Playa del Carmen mega complex, which started with the debut of Hotel Xcaret in 2017. The new resort will open with 900 suites, seven restaurants, a spa, five cultural experiences, multiple pools and convention facilities.
The new resort, Hotel Xcaret Arte, is dedicated to Mexican art, which will be felt throughout the property across its five different Casas. Each Casa will be inspired by a different Mexican tradition and will offer related enrichment activities. For example, Casa del Diseno will offer a textile workshop, while Casa de la Musica will offer dance instruction. Casa de los Artistas will have painting classes, Casa de la Piramide will take a deep dive into Mexican pottery, and Casa de la Paz will offer cooking workshops that specialize in vegan food. A sixth house, Casa del Patron, will be the event and convention space.

Like Hotel Xcaret, Hotel Xcaret Arte will feature the All-Fun Inclusive concept, which includes unlimited access to all of Grupo Xcaret’s ecoparks. Additional perks include roundtrip transportation to the airport and to and from the parks.
Nine culinary experiences will be available, including Mexican fusion, Lebanese, Mediterranean, Chinese and more. Michelin-starred chef Paco Mendez will oversee the signature restaurant, Encanta. Guests will find 10 bars and lounges scattered across the property, including a speakeasy-style bar called Deseo.
