Lindblad Expeditions’ new expedition vessel, the National Geographic Endurance, will sail its maiden voyage from Iceland on July 21.
The 126-guest ship, which is the first newbuild polar ship in the line’s history, was originally set to launch in April 2020.
Unique features include top-deck igloos where guests can sleep under the stars and a glass-walled yoga studio and gym.
The 19-day inaugural voyage begins and ends in Reykjavik. The ship is set to sail across the eastern shore of Greenland, but the company said it was unclear whether Greenland will open its borders in time to allow stops there.
The sailing will be followed by two 13-day cruises in the same region, departing Aug. 7 and Aug. 18.
