Marriott International has debuted the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, which marks the first Marriott Hotels resort to open in the United Arab Emirates.
Located on Dubai’s tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah archipelago, the 608-room property offers guests access to more than 18 acres of beachfront.
Guestrooms and suites showcase elements like ocean-inspired color palettes, floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies, as well as amenities like pillow menus and mood lighting.
The resort is positioning itself as a culinary destination, with plans in place to ultimately house 10 dining venues. Six are currently up and running, including Italian trattoria concept Cucina, the Gelateria by Cucina ice cream parlor, all-day dining outlet Levantera, the Myami Pool Bar & Lounge, Mexican-American beach restaurant Senor Pico and a lobby lounge.
The property’s four remaining food and beverage options are slated to open throughout 2023. They include beachside venue Bal Harbour Beach, Korean steakhouse Smoki Moto Dubai, Peruvian-Japanese fusion rooftop concept Above Eleven and a yet-to-be-announced, high-end restaurant.
Guests staying in an M Club-level room or suite also have access to the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai’s M Club lounge, where complimentary refreshments are available during daytime and evening hours.
Other highlights include a pool, a fitness center, a kids club with its own dedicated pool and more than 20,000 square feet of event space.
In 2023, the property plans to debut its Middle Eastern-inspired Saray Spa, which will feature private treatment rooms, a couples treatment room and a Saray Hammam experience.
Marriott’s flagship Marriott Hotels brand currently has close to 600 hotels and resorts across more than 65 countries.
