African Bush Camps is opening a new camp on the popular Khwai wildlife concession along the banks of the Khwai River near Moremi National Park in Botswana. Khwai Tented Camp will open in mid-2023, welcoming up to 16 guests.
With sturdy canvas walls and roof, each unit — six doubles and one family tent — will feature en suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers; a private deck and plunge pool; ceiling fans; and a fireplace. Guests will also enjoy access to a central camp pool and the main building with a lobby and restaurant overlooking the Moremi Game Reserve.
Activities at the lodge will include morning, afternoon and nighttime game drives as well as walking safaris and moroko safaris (depending on water levels). Visits to the Khwai village and sister African Bush Camps destination Khwai Leadwood Camp are just a short distance away.
