Oceania Cruises will sail a 59-day voyage from the Mediterranean to Asia by way of Africa at the end of 2024.
The cruise is one of three new itineraries on the Riviera, a ship that was refurbished a year ago.
The 1,250-guest ship will sail the grand voyage departing from Barcelona on Nov. 14, 2024. The cruise ends in Singapore on Jan. 12, 2025.
Oceania is also offering a 27-day version of the sailing, enabling guests to begin in Barcelona and disembark in Cape Town, South Africa on Dec. 11. Also, guests can book a 33-day voyage from Cape Town to Singapore.
After departing Barcelona, the ship is expected to call at the Canary Islands then sail down the western coast of Africa calling in Senegal, Gambia, Ghana and overnighting in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The ship will then overnight at Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
The ship will call in Port Elizabeth before sailing up the eastern coast of Africa, calling in Antsiranana, Madagascar, and will overnight in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The ship will call in the Seychelles, the Maldives, Thailand and Malaysia before a final overnight in Singapore to end the cruise.
