Hilton says the Palacio Provincial, a boutique hotel in San Juan, will join its Curio Collection this year.
Located within the Old San Juan Historic District, the 43-room Palacio Provincial occupies an early 19th century building. In 2021, the hotel opened its doors following a restoration of the building.
Hilton describes the hotel’s interior as combining “urban sophistication with laid-back charm.” Guestrooms have 12-foot wooden window doors leading out to Juliet balconies offering views of Old San Juan. Furnishings include plush beds, large smart TVs, work desks, custom wall cabinets and accents of history, art, culture and bright-colored décor.
Palacio Provincial’s culinary offerings include an oasis-like courtyard restaurant, Consular Restaurant & Bar, and the Atelier Rooftop Terrace, where diners have views of San Juan Bay and the colonial city.
