Ritz-Carlton is coming to Italy’s Lake Como, with the luxury brand taking over the former Hotel Grande Bretagne in Bellagio.
The building will undergo a major restoration ahead of a 2026 debut. The property is spread across a 17,760-square-foot estate that dates to 1850.
Once complete, the Ritz-Carlton Bellagio will have a total of 105 accommodations — 59 rooms and 46 suites.
The waterfront resort will have casual and fine-dining restaurants, a destination spa with indoor pool, and meeting and event space.
Guests will have access to a variety of outdoor amenities, including a pool, a walking trail, a meditation garden and a private boat dock.
The Ritz-Carlton Bellagio will be the first Ritz-Carlton in Italy.
