St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has made its Saudi Arabia debut, opening the St. Regis Riyadh.
The hotel, built with stone from Tuwaiq Mountain, is the only hotel in the heart of Via Riyadh, home to designer boutiques, restaurants and a cinema. Situated at the entrance of the Diplomatic Quarter, the hotel is close to embassies and the central business district.
The luxury hotel has 83 guestrooms, including 21 suites. Guestrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, large open bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. Each is designed with metallic hues of gold and copper married with beige and blue.
Food and beverage options include Jackie, an American Greek fusion restaurant inspired by Jackie Kennedy Onassis’ love of the Mediterranean.
The Drawing Room is a lounge serving coffee and pastries throughout the day and afternoon tea, a signature tradition of St. Regis.
On the rooftop, Stella Sky surrounds the outdoor pool and offers views across the city. By day guests can laze on plush sunbeds and by night take a seat indoors to enjoy live entertainment, smoke shisha and dine on sushi and sashimi infused with Saudi spices.
The hotel’s signature St. Regis Bar features a mural that captures Arabesque motifs with elaborate woven wools, embroidery and beading. The St. Regis Bar offers a Regal Mary mocktail, a take on the brand’s signature Bloody Mary. It is infused with dates, turmeric and sumac.
The St. Regis Spa features green marble, neutral tones, soft textures and warm lighting. The spa has a private entrance, four treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, saunas, steam rooms, ice fountains and Jacuzzis. Guests can enjoy refreshments at the Celebration Bar before a spa treatment.
A 650-guest ballroom is the hotel’s main event space.
