Luxury rentals can come with a heavy price tag these days — and at $15,000 a night, Villa Harrah, right on the eastern shores of Lake Tahoe, is one of the most expensive listings in the U.S. on Airbnb, listed as part of the Airbnb Luxe offerings.
The seven-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom home near Zephyr Cove and Heavenly Mountain in Glenbrook, Nevada, describes itself as a “resort-like estate” with its dreamy waterfront location taking centerstage. “With walls of windows that soar above the lake, this light-filled villa looks like it’s floating on water,” the description reads, adding that its “balconies seem endless.”
In addition to its stellar views, the property is packed with indulgent amenities, including a cinema, wet bar, pool table, and private pier. It’s also decked out with its own complete spa, which has a sauna, hot tub, salt room, and — unbelievably — a beauty salon for both hair and nails. A live-in caretaker is also on-site.
Four of the bedrooms have king beds and two have a queen bed, while the final one has three queen-size bunk beds. Chef, spa, and cleaning services are available for an additional fee, as are airport transfers.
One reviewer, who stayed at the villa in July 2022, noted that her experience was “amazing” and that it had both the “perfect host” and was a “perfect house.”
Villa Harrah is also listed on luxury home rental site LVH, which says the 20,752-square-foot property can sleep up to 14 guests and has a “sleek aesthetic” that’s at the “pinnacle of cosmopolitan sophistication,” with sculptural furniture, pop art pieces, and Navajo-patterned throws. It also raves about its wine cellar with a “glamorous bar with chic cowhide stools.”
“Claiming a lovely stretch of private coastline, this home commands extraordinary views over the glassy expanse of Lake Tahoe, with iconic mountain silhouettes perched atop a perfect horizon,” the rental site said. “A resort unto itself, the impressive amenities of this villa will dazzle the most discriminating guest.”
