Minor Hotels’ NH Hotel Group is jumping into the luxury, all-inclusive space with the upcoming opening of the Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort in Portugal.
Scheduled to open sometime in the first quarter of next year, the property is a revamp of the former Pestana Blue Alvor Resort, which is located just outside the city of Portimao.

Once renovated, the Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort will launch with 470 rooms, four restaurants, two bars, children’s clubs and a spa as well as six pools, a gym, tennis courts and a minigolf course.
Although it will be the first all-inclusive for NH Hotel Group and its Tivoli Hotels & Resorts brand, it is set to join five existing Tivoli-flagged properties in Portugal’s Algarve, the country’s southernmost region.
The Tivoli portfolio currently comprises 16 properties worldwide.
