Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters again took to the skies of Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon on June 11 with new exclusive flights and enhanced health and safety protocols.
The Family and Friends flights over the Strip and the Grand Canyon were designed for guests who prefer flying only with their travel companions, a company spokesman said.
Papillon has improved cleaning procedures and sanitization for aircraft, shuttles and terminals. All guests must undergo a temperature check upon arriving at terminals and before entering shuttles at pickup locations. Guests also must wear their own masks or complimentary masks available on-site.
High-contact surfaces in terminals and aircraft are sanitized throughout the day, and social distancing practices are enforced in terminals. All employees and flight crews wear masks, and each employee has received extensive training on Covid-19 safety and sanitization protocols.
The Family and Friends package require a minimum of four passengers and features the ECO-Star EC130 aircraft with quiet-technology, an almost 180-degree field of view and forward facing, stadium-raised seating. Papillon offers complimentary transportation from Las Vegas hotels and prerecorded narration in multiple languages aboard the aircraft.
Prices range from $84 per passenger for 10-to-15-minute Strip flights to more than $700 for extensive canyon tours. For more information and to make reservations, go to www.papillon.com.
