Scott Dunn will open its first office in New York this summer.
The luxury tour operator is expanding its presence in the U.S., which is a core part of its brand strategy following the company’s acquisition by Flight Centre Travel Group in February.
Part of that brand strategy is tripling its business development team and focusing more on its work with travel advisors in order to reach a wider audience.
“Our growth plan is ambitious as we recognize the considerable opportunities in the U.S.,” said Sonia Davies, CEO of Scott Dunn. “We are looking at rapidly growing our North American business with an aggressive three-year plan.”
Davies added that the company’s presence in New York will allow them to spend more time with guests in-person, provide access to a larger pool of high-net-worth clients, and open sales and marketing opportunities.
Scott Dunn, which is headquartered in London, opened its first U.S. sales office in San Diego in 2016. The company also has an office presence in Singapore.
