Riviera River Cruises will launch a series of sailings that combine existing itineraries to create longer journeys.
Starting in 2025, the river cruise line will offer five back-to-back itineraries that create 15- to 29-day journeys.
Riviera’s extended cruises will sail on one ship, so guests will not need to change ships. Cruises travel the Rhine, Moselle and Danube rivers.
The available back-to-back itineraries are:
• The Majestic Rhine, Heidelberg & Switzerland River Cruise: 15 days with 11 visits and tours, starting at $4,129.
• The Rhine, Moselle & Switzerland River Cruise: 15 days with 13 visits and tours, starting at $4,769.
• Grand Cruise of the Rhine Gorge, Medieval Germany & Switzerland: 18 days with 17 visits and tours, starting at $6,049.
• Grand Cruise of the Moselle, Rhine, Luxembourg & Switzerland: 18 days with 18 visits and tours, starting at $6,049.
• Grand Cruise Through the Heart of Europe to the Black Sea: 29 days with 27 visits and tours, starting at $9,189.
Riviera said demand has increased for longer trips and that many customers book back-to-back cruises.
Also coming to Riviera’s product line are new itineraries for solo travelers. The line is adding three new itineraries, including Christmas market cruises, with departures beginning this year.
There’s the six-day Danube’s Imperial Cities & Yuletide Markets, available in December 2024 and December 2025 starting at $1,999; the five-day Enchanting Rhine Yuletide Markets, which launches in December 2025 and starts at $2,149; and the eight-day Bruges, Medieval Flanders, Amsterdam & the Dutch Bulbfields launching in in April 2025, starting at $3,549.
